Vocalist, storyteller, poet, educator, musician, and motivational speaker Queen Mother Imakhu, also known as La Sirena, has been using her voice to edutain and empower her audiences for fifty years. Her treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom have made her highly sought after and respected.

Founder/Director of Blacknificently LatinX Media (formerly AKERU MultiMedia), La Sirena Imakhu produces cultural events, workshops, tangible and digital art products. She has coached numerous artists about professional develop as an Artreprenuer.

Imakhu is also a yogini. As a certified yoga instructor, teaching the young and young-at-heart, she shares the principle of self-love through self-care.
