Sharme' (shar-MAY) means peace and freedom in the ancient African Kemetic language. Queen Mother Imakhu's SHARME' concert shares songs, empowering Ancient African prayer chants, storytelling, drumming, motivational messages of hope and overcoming. She includes her own stories of growing up during the radical 60's and 70's with racism, but still being committed to teaching that love changes the world.
